Captain Charles M. Weber Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology

The Weber Institute is a technical high school, divided into three career academies and an introductory academy for incoming freshmen.  It is a state of the art high school in Stockton Unified School District for students who have an interest in pursuing careers in technology, the health field, and the automotive industry.

New equipment meeting current industry standards is found in each of the three academies.  To make for a smooth transition from school to work, many students participate in internship programs in their particular career field during their senior year.  This allows students the opportunity to practice those skills obtained at the Institute.

In addition to the student’s core academic program, they are able to take courses in Animation, Computer Aided Drafting/ Design (CADD), Cisco Networking, Automotive Technology, Nursing Assistant, and Video Production to name just a few.

We have links to each of the academies so parents and students, can keep track of what is going on in their academy as well as know what homework is currently due. Each staff member will also have their own page linked from their academy home page. We also have a link to the calendar of school wide events and school schedule.

Weber Institute will be following the new SUSD modified traditional schedule for this 2006 - 2007 school year. A copy of that calendar can be found on the website as well.
